  1. Truck Bed Tie-Down Anchor For Tacoma 2024+

I genuinely thought I was about to open this and see these guys rip off that other guy who just manufactured a $200 set of tie down anchors. This is equally as disappointing.
  2. Alignment Specs after lift/Aftermarket UCAs

In my opinion, it's a pretty good alignment. I've found that unless you go to a very specialized shop, none of these people will give your alignment the attention you want. Bringing that positive camber as close to 0 as possible is what will save the outer edges of your tires, but I don't...
  3. Lexland Rear Recovery Points 2.0 Installed

I mean I tend to agree with you, but also, it's just a hunk of forged steel. I suppose they could be using a mild steel.
  4. Lexland Rear Recovery Points 2.0 Installed

You need the sleeves to be able to torque the bolts to spec without damaging your frame. The bolts need to be torqued to spec in order to use them for any recovery situation. If you're simply looking for aesthetics, then don't torque the bolts too high and just know to never pull from those...
  5. Lexland Rear Recovery Points 2.0 Installed

Did your truck come with reinforcement sleeves welded to the frame where you bolted the recovery points? If I remember correctly, models with the plugs in the frame do not have the sleeves necessary to torque these down. Doing so without the sleeves can bend your frame. I had to add...
  6. Banks Ram-Air Intake for the 4th Gen Tacoma. Everything you need to know.

I've had y'all's intake installed on my SR5 with an OTT Tune for a couple months now. It's a great intake and the sound is very noticeable, much louder than stock, without the side plug. Seeing the mentions of only running without the plug in dry environments, am I at risk running with no side...
  7. SDHQ Bumper Light Mount + Shutter Delete + Rough Country Fog Light Kit

Sorry, this is going to be long, but I just wanted to drop this here for anyone else considering installing this light mount and shutter delete kit from SDHQ or the fog light kit from Rough Country. I'm very happy with the finished product. In hindsight, I wish I had made a better decision...
  8. OEM TRD Lift Components Question

Yea man - I'm about 4 alignments deep on this truck at just over 1 year of ownership. Mostly due to me adding suspension components, but I will say, it's hard to find a shop that takes pride in their alignments. Let me know if you notice any improvements after installation.
  9. OEM TRD Lift Components Question

The knuckle definitely looks a lot more stout. From what I understand, it just extends the perch and improves your turning radius, but I could be completely wrong. Having an SR5, I would also need to buy the extended driveshafts, to the tune of about $650. That kind of turned me off from...
  10. 4th Gen 2.4L Intake Shootout

I installed the Banks RAI about a month ago, paired with the latest tune from OTT. I'm very happy with the purchase. I had the OTT tune updated to the latest variant the same weekend I installed the intake, so I can't really speak to any direct throttle response improvement, but it sounds...
  11. Cali raised dual switch backlight. And relay location.

I just shove those things down the driver's side fender. Out of sight out of mind.
  12. Michelin mats / protector giveaway: What have you done to your Tacoma recently?

Installed UCAs with the goal of dialing in the alignment and suspension on my truck.
  13. OEM TRD Lift Components Question

I believe those lower knuckles were for the TRDOR but don't quote me. There is an image floating around somewhere, along with a PDF, that you can try and cross reference to find specifically which parts you need. See the references below to find your specific part numbers.
  14. OEM TRD Lift Components Question

I got the part numbers wrong for the knuckles - for an SR5 4X4, the right parts are listed below. It doesn't make sense adding the other components without the extended drive shafts, though. That adds about $650 to the bill. I just want to know what I stand to gain before pulling the trigger...
