Good that it at least gets a little better with temp. The only thing that stinks about that is by the time it's warmed up and maybe shifting a little better, you're already where you need to go, and it's same thing on the way back (i.e. work). I traded out of the Highlander because of this...

I've been considering 4th gens, and I was looking into peoples feedback on the transmission beforehand. It's really unfortunate that Toyota keeps designing stuff this way on purpose. What's being described here is exactly what I experienced with a previous Highlander 8 speed. Super clunky 1-2...
