FYI Toyota dip sticks are not good, when I check my oil it’s always before the first drive of the day. I think it’s actually the tube that gets oil splashed into it?
I’ve owned several hybrids. Still own . If you make a lot of short trips it can be a problem. 20-30 minute trip at highway speeds once a week solves the issue. But the body on frame is an entirely different hybrid system, I thought I read some where tow/haul mode with the Tacoma Hybrid will keep...
I’d pass on the fang lights as well, good idea but definitely look cheesy in my opinion. Glad your not doing “raptor” clearance lights!
Save the coin on the grill? And get a behind the grill light bar.

Bought the Nokian’s mainly for snow/ice, they haven’t disappointed. Was a little worried about off road performance but they have been a very good all around tire. 23K on them and just wore through the 80% layer.
I stayed with 17’s. RRW’s with Nokian outpost NAT 285/70r17 (46 lbs) barely noticeable drive ability, Amrid (Kevlar) reinforced sidewalls, and about 1 to 1.5 mpg hit. Total weight per corner is 71lbs with steel protection rings.
Change the filter every time. You’re risking running unfiltered oil through your engine, when the filter becomes plugged it will bypass the filter. At what point will that happen? I don’t want to find out.
Well, the $20K savings I choose the TRD OR with SDM and upgrade package. Added $7.5K from the aftermarket. Since you’re asking, I would put it up against a TH anytime in the real world.
Nice review! The factory Bilsteins were disappointing. Good replacements can transform the Tacoma!
How close does the UCA come to the shocks at full droop?
