I had Rokblokx, they didn't have Pro specific flaps before I got eager to replace with ones that would finally stop eating my bedside up so now I have Ark's on it, been trying to sell the Rokblokx on marketplace since lol
Normal on all the OEM Toyota flaps I've had, my 2009 and 2018, I removed the OEM flaps off my new truck immediately for after market ones I had ready to go
I think this might be a case of it just being hard to read the dipstick, I usually flip my dipstick over and check, it looks overfilled on one side and fine on the other
They probably had to remedy the amount of oil at some point because of the failing MAF’s on TH’s, I sprayed cleaner on my MAF for good measure when I swapped, the oil is to keep moisture out, and maybe catch the dirt too I’m sure it’s oiled enough to perform as it should

Yeah I washed all the red out of the pleats like I normally would with any filter like a foam motocross filter or a random k&n, I couldn’t believe the amount of oil floating inside when I was spraying the dirt out, I’ll let it sit out for a week or more to dry and I’ll oil only the outside
Not really a fan of how much oil comes on the filter from the factory holy hell, it’s like they sprayed it inside and out, won’t be putting that much oil back on next time
Had the truck out some washed out fire roads, love this title beast, even tried out 4Lo for climbing some slow hills, wish I had more time to enjoy more of the fun features this truck has more often
I had an outback XT which is the same engine your wife’s car has, and it feels much better with a transmission anti wobble insert and a Cobb engine brace, way more responsive
Installed some Crux tint on the sides of my headlights, reverse lens, and 3rd brake light, not the happiest with my install, I should have done a wet install but I wanted them on now, maybe I’ll order them again next summer and do it again
