  1. Brand new Tacoma owner I just bought a Trail Hunter

Loving mine. You will love yours!!!!
  2. Mudflaps for Trailhunter?

So like .. yeah. Agreed. The Canada flaps wouldn’t fit on my truck with my tires, so I put the old ones back on. And I like the minimalist style and how they flex over terrain. Yeah they spray mud. One rock chip after 12K miles including a ton of highway. I’m over it. It’s fine. I got...
  3. TRD Sport ride quality

Mine does not rise to the level of anyone having any idea that anything weird happened. Good thing you got it documented
  4. TRD Sport ride quality

For me it’s minimal and isn’t really anything that bothers or concerns me. I think it’s worse maybe on some trucks?
  5. TRD Sport ride quality

I feel like 2 seconds of lugging sometimes but nothing continuous - do you guys feel it for long durations ? Also, higher octane fuel helps so much with smoothness and lugging
  6. TRD Sport ride quality

I think @Gfenza89 is having the same sputtering issue - Gary maybe you could confirm
  7. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

But the Trailhunter is like 3” wider so it looks extra silly with thinner tires - it’s all proportionate though
  8. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

285s should have been standard. On my trailhunter the 265s looked like racing bicycle tires. Now it fills up those fender flares nicely and looks proportional to how wide the truck is. 33” is still kinda small looking but it’s a good baseline. 35s would look killer.
  9. Rear seatbelt assembly rattle - FIXED

Taco Rancher Junior solved the mystery rattle!!!!! So, although it SOUNDS like the rear passenger seatbelt assembly it’s actually the latch for the middle/driver side rear seat backs in the CENTER (from the driver perspective it sounds like the rear passenger since it’s coming into your right...
  10. 20 HP / 14 lb-ft torque gain from 91 Octane gas on Tacoma Gas Engine 2.4 i-Force (dyno tested by Stillen)

There is no need. But this engine is a shared dirvetrain with the Landcruiser. It adapts to higher octane and can make more HP and runs smoother on higher octanes. Not a need, but it’s pretty cool when you try higher octanes. The manual says that 87 is the minimum, not the only octane. You...
  11. Mudflaps for Trailhunter?

Do you think they’ll fit with 285s? The Canadian flaps don’t as they have a thick portion that protrudes toward the tire.
  12. I built one of the baddest adventure Trailhunter Tacoma builds on earth.

Why does he have to be modest? All of these trucks are some kind of flex on some level, in particular Halos. We’re all having fun.
  13. Failing the 4H Test?

Mine pops too. I’m not super worried about it since so many people report the same issue, but I’ll just say it doesn’t sound that trivial when it happens. On one occasion my father in law was in the truck with me and he thought I snapped something in the front end.
  14. +25 OFFSET CLUB

    I love my blaze 10s
  15. Soon to be New 2025 TRD Pro owner!

I’m glad I have the 24 with the HUD. What is the upgraded amperage?
  16. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

Not sure - but the more negative the more likely to rub
  17. Bronze Oxide TRD OR 3" Lift, 35" Baja Boss ATs, SCS Blaze 10s +20 Offset

Oh, I got those same wheels on my TH. Love them. Nice 35s!
  18. Trailhunter max tire size

    t. I don’t think @Snickers did any of that
  19. Trailhunter max tire size

Bear in mind you would go from 32.6” to 34.1” and that means a full 0.75” lift. It’s significant and you’ll notice it. I think it’s the best compromise. Also which 35s are you looking at? Flotation? 315s?
