Tell ya what , the shudder and vibration is more annoying and concerning to me then how the transmission shifts weird sometimes. I’ve spent stupid money on Toyota trucks too and I’m a loyalist but this whole mess has me questioning everything

Don’t you find it odd that some of these trucks are throwing codes for shift solenoid issues but shift good overall…. Yet some of us are driving trucks that have been acting up pretty bad for 1-3k miles and no codes are thrown ??

Interesting, so your trans wasn’t even acting up that bad and it through an engine light. Mines been shifting goofy for a while now with 2400 miles and it still has yet to throw a code, makes me think there’s more to this issue that we’re not being told

Exactly please call and voice your concern! I absolutely love my 4th gen it’s the best Tacoma yet, but to have to worry about breaking down everyday is getting really old and the worst part is I know it’s coming. Doesn’t Toyota realize the severity of this?? People could be hurt or killed...
