Incompetent morons…..and they think we the customers are as stupid as they are, that’s the worst part.

Yeah I know…Toyota won’t even inspect the fluid for me, they sent an engineer FTS to the dealer and he said dropping the transmission would open a can of worms. What an absolute joke

These transmission SUCK in these 4th gen’s. At least yours doesn’t shudder and jerk and buck and vibrate like a kid learning to drive stick shift ..

My sr5 is the same way, you can clearly see how much positive camber it has, wheels slightly off enter but it tracks straight down the road

Yeah I’m confused too I thought the halo models all came with the same gadgets. Not making any sense to me either. I wonder if you called Toyota dealers parts department and gave them your vin if they could decipher why you don’t have an alternator?

Q so im at work and dug into this a little bit. It appears only hybrid models with “ auxiliary switch system” get the alternator .

This is wild for you hybrid guys, huge deal to add an alternator to the 25s, something is most deff wrong.

Because it’s a fully boxed frame and the hitch is part of the frame it makes repairing it virtually impossible even if Toyota did allow it. It should be totaled, I’d fight that out with the body shop manager and your insurance company .
