I wouldn’t spend the money on the oem insulation blanket, it’s a truck and I personally love the sound of the engine and the ticking from the d4s, makes me happy to know we have dual injection and won’t have carbon build up like literally every other manufacture engines.

You don’t need that nonsense on a Toyota with d4s. Just use top tier gasoline, and I high quality synthetic oil and change your oil regularly. All that will help prevent carbon deposits, maybe run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner every oil change or once a month.

You’ll love it man, these trucks will last a very long time . Proper maintence is key. I have full faith in the engineers that designed this turbo engine . It’s been beefed up to last and work hard
