Yes, mounted it to a molle panel with my propane bottle. It has been removed since I found my Viair compressor works just fine. Not as convenient or fast, but adequate enough to ditch the bottle.
Picture is before I had the camper installed.
My truck with 285/70 load range C tires, C4 winch bumper and Warn M9 winch tips the scales at 3100# at the front axle.
I had to change a tire in the weeds right after I bought the truck. Thankfully my spare was on the rear bumper, and not under the bed. It was a royal PITA to get the jack...
I've been looking at the Lensun for both my 4Runner and Tacoma. As of right now I don't have an opinion. I do know somebody that has one, and I don't recall them saying anything bad about it.
Just so you know. Older wheels used 12mm lugs. Our trucks use 14mm lugs. Also, the center bore is different. You better make sure those wheel fit before you plunk down some cash.
I put 1500 miles on my truck over Thanksgiving after the Cam tune. I have a heavy truck with a camper-canopy and heavy 285 c-rated tires. This tune woke up the engine by a long shot.
Here in the intermountain west the issue is also snow. The Falken AT's are the preferred tire for many of us. I run the AT3 on my old 4Runner, and now the AT4 on my Tacoma. That said, I have needed to replace two AT3's on the 4Runner due to sidewall gashes. In snow, you can't avoid what you...
Going from the stock 265/70's to 285/70 (C) cost me 27 horsepower at the rear wheels (dyno'd). That means lower mpg. If you don't wheel, or haul loads (camper), I would stick with SL rated tires. The 275/70's would be a good compromise.
Ya, old post. I have a TRD-OR with a Dirtbox. Same idea, and the Lone Peak was my second choice.
Expect a huge hit to mileage. I get 16-17. I don't care.
I don't understand why the auxiliary wiring would be different hybrid vs non-hybrid. Here is a pic on my auxiliary plug next to the washer bottle. Note that I'm plugged in.
Interesting. When I talked with Dobinson about my truck they told me I needed the 819's. I installed the 819's, and they were a joke, so I installed 821's. Give me a break, so I installed their 1/2" spacer. OK, I can live with that, for now. I suspect the 823's are in my future, especially if I...
