Yes I did. I keeps the resonator intact so the sound is pretty much the same. It is tucked up nicely out of the way. It is above the spare tire so that would likely hit first before the exhaust. And finally, there is no way to make a 4 cylinder sound good. You can put a fancy aftermarket exhaust...
That trim looks terrible. Most people want to get away from shiny plastic trim that shows scratches and finger prints. Those particular trim pieces are even more hideous with the orange peel rattle can spray paint look. It's hard to believe anybody would actually buy this.
These should be called under seat flow restrictors. I cannot believe anyone would waste the time to install these let alone actually spend money on them.
Do this! Good clearance, sounds good, and looks good with the 3 inch exit on the resonator, and it costs 1 sawsall blade. This is very similar to the 4Runner and Land Cruiser factory setups.
This is worthless junk. IF the grab handle was an actual handle instead of being similar to the worthless passenger side OEM "handle divot" it might excuse the poor color match and crappy build quality.
I have heard this referred to as radial steer/pull. It is caused by an out of spec tire. You wouldn't notice it on the rear. Try swapping the front tires side to side. See if the pull changes or moves the other way. That might help isolate it.
1. Start the truck
2. Disable wifi on your phone. This keeps Carplay from connecting among other things
3. Insert the adapter (truck already running)
4. Wait 15-20 seconds for it to connect
5. Open the app
This has worked every time for me.
Are you noticing the difference between recirculate for A/C and no recirc for heat? It will make a difference in both sound and flow. Normally heat doesn't run in recirc mode which may be why you are experiencing this.
This is my setting as well. Use your high beams as a guide to adjust this. Notice that with it on 0 there is hardly any difference in high and low beams which tells me why others flash us. Now try it at 2 and see how much more useful your brights are. 0 and even 1 will get you flashed...
This forum is for Tacoma enthusiasts mostly. Enthusiasts like to mod their vehicles so if you ask this forum most will say remove it. For the other 99 percent of Tacoma drivers that have not and will never visit this forum there gonna keep it on.
Toyota dealer or online Toyota parts seller. FYI that is for a transverse mounted engine so if you are thinking about trying to use it on a Tacoma it probably won't fit.
