    Mine started squeaking about a week after getting fluid film sprayed on the undercarriage. I guess the film mist worked its way between the rubber gaskets and the cab. Dragged a cloth down the gaps and the squeak went away. Truck is a month old with 1,500 miles.

    I would definitely swap if I had one. I passed on a few Sports when I was looking to buy my 2026, because it’s not functional and would make washing/waxing more of a pain. Take this with a grain of salt from someone who completely de-badged his SR5 due to the washing/waxing issue.

    I was going to order one, but I think it will prevent some of the engine heat from escaping. The turbo probably creates extra heat. Maybe Toyota designed the hood without the pad for a reason?
