After 33,000 miles, this truck has been one of the most reliable vehicles I’ve owned. It’s been running a @CAMTuning stage 1/e30 tune along with a Mishimoto intake and SXTH Element intercooler, and it gets driven hard on a regular basis. From daily commuting to full-throttle pulls, the truck has...

  7. Guess I need an Oil catch can! Caught this while installing my intercooler!

Even on a dual-injected engine, an oil catch can is an upgrade because it captures oil vapor from the PCV system before it enters the intake. Oil can still accumulate inside the charge pipe, eventually making its way into the intercooler and intake tract like in the photo I attached. Oil coating...

  12. Oil Catch Can Recommendations for Toyota Tacoma 2024

BMS and SXTH are solid options. I like the HPS one but idk if the lines being too long will cause any issues in the long run. I've read on a you tube video on some people getting a CEL from running the HPS.

  14. Should I buy a Tacoma? Coming from a sports car

Coming from a 600hp integra, and a FBO stage 1 tune 330i, its definitely worth it. I do a lot of camping with my family so its much more convenient for me to have a truck than a sports car. sometimes i wish i would have gotten a truck a long time ago.

no, ethanol sensors have to be purchased separately from a tune. it is needed to run e85 and know your exact content. my truck is currently running e30 with the fuel it ethanol sensor kit. I'm tuned by CAMTUNING.
  16. SXTH Vs. Banks (Intake & Boost Tubes)

CAMTuning did a comparison on both intakes and they are almost identical! So whatever you choose, you’ll get the same outcome. If you’re looking for the turbo sound, then SXTH takes it! SXTH intake is way louder than the Banks! I have mishimoto intake and I’m pretty happy with it.
  17. SXTH Vs. Banks (Intake & Boost Tubes)

Yup! I got blocked by Rob on his Facebook page cuz he doesn’t like anyone talking about other brands of it isn’t BANKS! What a shame!
