Thank you for the Ranger Wrap update. Would you be able to take off the Ranger Wrap, then re-add it repeatedly? I ask in case I need to put the Starlink Mini back in my Veritas Vans mount or if temps get extreme while operating it.
I have on order, should be here next week. Great feedback on the silicone sleeve. I was about to order that as well, now I will not. I look forward to your feedback on the ranger wrap.
I have had my Starlink mini mounted to my roof rack using the the Veritas Vans mount and rack mount kit. I run the power and ethernet cable through the back window and cover that with XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape. I plug the power into the Cig Adapter or USB-C. I plug the...
Mine rubbed and did not provide very good protection against rock spray. Still better that the ones that came with my TH. The PN on the Canadian v1 is PK389-35R00-P1. I may consider changing out to the PK389-35R55-P1, at least for the rear.
The top pic is the Ark, bottom the Toyota Canadian. Both front. Attached is a pic from the back Toyota Canadian which has Tacoma on it. If I was pulling a trailer, I would probably replace that with the Ark as well.
The NRS Pike pro kayak has been really good many uses cases. I generally use my float tube for lakes under 50 acres, kayak for larger. I mount a 55lb thrust trolling motor on if I need to cover a lot of water in larger waters. I moves really good with the paddles. Wind is always a concern, it...
The Kuat Ibex has three cross bars. The Sherpa roof rack would work with both the canopy and bed rack, I did not really need it before. I would not have the additional space that the canopy is now providing.
I just picked up a Subaru OBW myself. Saving my Taco for fishing miles.
I still have my Kuat Ibex kit for sale, $2,250

After stuffing in my inflatable NRS fishing kayak(s) into the back of my Outback, I wanted to be able to keep them inflated so that I could also move from lake to lake with minimal effort. I could have put a Kayak rack on my Outback; I was also pushing the limits of where that could go with some...
I wanted more storage so I changed over to an Alu-Cab canopy. There are pro's and con's to each setup, the Alu-Cab has been better for my use case which is Fly Fishing.
I waited six months to get my Trailhunter back in 2024. I wanted a Tacoma hybrid with a long bed, the Trailhunter was the choice. Probably overkill for my mission: Fly Fishing all over the PacNW. I have no regrets, love my truck.
Here are some pics of the front and back of the Alu-Cab Contour 6' Bed. It is in fact tapered. I have two Alu-Cab 1450mm Load Bar's on the canopy and then the Sherpa Rainier Roof Rack on the cab. Only a month or so in these, very happy so far.
After owning my Trailhunter for a year, I decided to max out my Toyota warranty to 10yr/125K (given I love my truck 😀). I purchased this from Troy below. The cost was substantially less than what the dealer wanted at the time of purchase.

I had to modify the t slot nuts. I was hoping that Kuat would make some specific t slot nuts that fit the 6' bed, they have not to date. You may void the Kuat warranty and I would be concerned if you were putting a heavy load on the rack. The only thing on mine was inflatable kayaks.
