Not that I believe everything online, or Wikipedia, but based on what LRA states, it is still a steel tank, not an aluminum one. That would be why it doesn't outright requre a skid plate. That being said, anyone with proper fabrication skills and tools would be able to build their own skid...

Saw this posted on Facebook as well, and the poster mentioned that the tank goes on pre-order oon 5 Aug. He also said it was a 36gal tank. Kinda hope that's true. I want this due to my excessive work commute and occasional cross-country towing.

Went on my 2nd towing trip with the truck. Towed better this time than last, and got better fuel economy. Haven't changed anything on the truck since the last time, so that's a win I suppose. I should really beef up the suspension for this though.

Got a HUD on my 25 Limited, no map related anything at all displayed in the HUD. Is it a setting I've missed?

Due to adding a roof light, it caused excessive reflection from my HUD trim onto the windshield. I ended up buying some adhesive backed cloth off Amazon and it worked out. I only covered the inside portion at the time, and need to pull it out again to do the rest. It helped a lot though and was...

Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier that sells the oem style switches with white back light? Everything I've seen (and bought) comes with blue back light and obviously does not match our interior lighting.

My Limited didn't come with the oem Aux switches, unfortunately, so I bought switches from Caliraisedled. 1: grille light bar 2: ditch lights 3: roof light bar 4: chase lights Behind shifter: 5: aux fog lights 6: all lights (will be wired up at somepoint)

This sounds more like the beeps that sound off when a door is opened and closed without a key detected inside the truck while the engine is running, like all modern vehicles.

I now have an additional fuse/relay box for auxiliary items. Prior to that I just ran wires out the bottom of the oem fuse box as I knew I'd eventually upgrade the system and didn't want to cut/drill anything.

I have a 25 Limited, and it has an oem HUD. Don't use it too much, usually have it turned off.

I also got a black limited. Hated the chrome and bought oem mirror covers in black, a new trailhunter style grille, and when I got my front door windows tint matched, I had them vinyl wrap the door handles and tailgate trim in black. Only bit of chrome left is the wheels (eventually will be...
