Hi there! Nice truck and a great price.
I got a hard tri-fold cover off Amazon for sub-$400 and itās worked well the last yr.
I got OEM flaps off a forum member here, and they have worked well too - could also be that I put on some GoRhino RB30 running boards right before.
I have the spray in...
Anyone have these already? Iām curious about any water intrusion under the rail cap and onto the underlying body panel - any more than the stock un-cut bed rail
If you donāt plan on using the rear seats much, I say go for it! Like others have said, you canāt take the cash with you when you die, so might as well spend it when youāre alive. You get to start over messing around with modding your truck again also. If you like the color, found a good deal...
Great video of the install. Really like the wireless controller. Is the battery for that rechargeable or does it use like standard replaceable batteries? I never thought Iād go the controller route but all the potential lights do make it tempting.
Driverās side is definitely clear. This passengerās side has been like this since I noticed it. Thanks for the clarification. Iāve have it 15mths and 16k miles so probably will make an appt with the dealer to have it checked I guess. Just a little hesitant having the chance they tear into it...
Noticed this last week when I was washing the car. Anyone experience this? Iām guessing maybe a seal leak or something? I didnāt see or feel a crack or chip in the lens.
I guess itās a reasonable excuse to buy replacement partsā¦..but donāt you have to drop the bumper to replace the lights?
Looks great! Might have to wait for the next holiday sale do get these. Did you have to use the shims or anything to keep the bed-end from curling up like on the non lit bed rails?
Katzkins offers actual leather options, not just synthetics? Hmm. Thanks for confirming that. Iāll see brands say āleather seat coversā only to read the fine print to reveal itās synthetic. Wonder how the install at home is for the genuine vs synthetic kits.
I havenāt pulled the trigger on bilsteins, but if youāre wondering about stock heights on a SR5 4x4 long bed, I can prob get those to you later this wk when I get a minute.
