I like the Alltrak, the manual ones came out in 2018 I think. My Gti is the final year of a manual transmission and analog gages - like you said a relative dinosaur. A couple years later even the manual is gone.

I only started buying new vehicles later in life. For years I drove older vehicles making 6 figures. First new car at 37. But I digress, I like base trims better sometimes. They seem to age better.

In Canada it’s hard to find much of a deal, at least in my parts. 2 years ago they were MSRP everywhere and some were over. Best I could do was no extra dealer fees. I don’t think much has changed in 2 years.

I want to know more of the 2027 models than a colour. It’s mid - August and no info. The main concern is will they have this impaired driving lockout bs that the US is pushing and will it be on Canadian versions as well.

It says “If the reservoir detaches while driving, it can create a road hazard, potentially increasing the risk of a crash or injury to another road user.” Maybe not the best plan to purposely wait until a failure happens, just to sell a new set.
