No because what was described as the camera system was just a power adapter. Found the system for about $900 from dealer but don’t want to buy that until know it will work and whether dealers can potentially install the other 2 fins. Seems like dealers have no idea and trying to talk to Toyota...
I weighed my stock TH wheels and tires and got ~74 pounds. I have switched to the Method 703 rims and Falken AT4W 285/70/17 which now weigh in 90 pounds. Will be doing a good bit of overlanding so wanted a heavier tire. Havent seen a big difference in ride between stock and new setup.. Maybe...
Most defintely since my ride is a Trailhunter. Love the sliders, but not easily attached as not completely bolt on. Had to do some cutting work on pieces hanging off the frame. Holidays interfered but will be having a conversation with CBI within next couple of days.
Have been extremely disappointed with mileage Ive been getting. Less than 1500 miles driven so far, but getting 13.5-16 mpg on highway Normal to ECO mode. No excessive speed, not heavy on the throttle. Have changed rims/ tires to Method 703 with Falken AT4W 285/70/r17 and have changed Rock Rails...
Less than 1500 miles with 3/4 of that highway. 2 tank experiment on road Eco got much better mpg. Even on highway using adaptive cruise and definitely not a lead foot a still only getting 16 mpg. Really disappointed in mileage especially with tiny gas tank. Range is 260 or so. My 2008 4Runner...
I’ll try Normal mode.. I live in Oak Ridge, so mix of flat and hills (unless I go over to Smokies). I am surprised by the mileage.. Maybe 20 instead of 22-24 but not 15-17.. I might have gone with a Tundra if I had known that..
Usually get regular, but will try mid grade.. Gas seems to be...
Started the build on my TH with Method 703 Bronze wheels and Falken AT4W tires (285/70/r17). Next took off OEM Rock Rails (no step and not as protective as I wanted) and put on CBI Overland bolt on Rock sliders (powder coat/ DOM/ double cab 5’/ kickouts). Had Asheville Vehicle Outfitters install...
Maybe my TH is heavier but running the road of East TN, I am only getting around 17mpg.. Driving ECO mode and I drive conservatively (most of the time).
I am getting the same low mpg in my TH (1100 miles). Changed to Method 703 rims with Falken 285/70/r17 Wildpeak AT4W.. getting same MPG before tire change as after. (About 500 on each). Not quite the 22-24 as posted.. My 2008 4Runner (4L) got 22-24 mpg.
while driving home through mountains from NC to TN encounter winter mix of weather. Ground temp 36 and mix of rain/ sleet/ snow. Had. Warning come up that front radar sensor covered and PDA disabled. When stope for gas, slushy mix was on the Sensor shield. Brushed it off and problem solved...
