I haven't found a use for mine yet. It only holds 25lbs on each side and it's not long enough to hold much. Maybe a 1 gallon roto can on each side of fuel or water? I haven't seen any photos of something attached to it and even Toyota doesn't demo anything on it in their advertising. Mine is...
There arequite a few fantastic short videos on YouTube that will explain all your 4WD questions. Including when to use your 4WD so you don't damage your vehicle.
Nicely done!
It should have come from the factory like this! Why would you market an Overlanding trim with that baby rack that hardly supports any weight instead of a full rack!
Which company had a wiring harness on their lights that was plug and play with the pre-wired Tacoma pigtails? Cali Raised LED says they can't make theirs plug and play and still requires some splicing, which doesn't make much sense to me. Did Toyota use some super proprietary connector or what?
I would say these kind of defeat the purpose of having rock sliders in the first place. They would ruin your higher clearence and be huge chunks for rocks to catch on and break instead of "sliding" like the sliders are meant for.
Good to see the new video out... But, without me having to watch it yet, is it completely plug and play with my aux wire harnesses yet or do I still need to splice? As soon as it's plug and play I'll order my ditch light kit.
85 is the standard at altitude by government regulation. It's equivalent to 87 at sea level. Same pricing tiers as 87 anywhere else. For warranty and engine considerations it's considered the same as 87.
I hit 1100 miles on my stock trailhunter that game with Toyota OEM roof rack and I just hit 17 today after a 2.5 hour highway trip to the mountains the last few days. It's pretty disappointing. I think it'll settle around 16/16.5. This is with eco, and changing the adaptive cruise control to the...
Congrats!
I got a Trailhunter in the Springs. I've only seen a dozen or less 24s down here and no Pros or Trailhunters. Had to drive to west Texas to aquire one.
The 2025 4Runner promos have already shown we're getting expanded color options for 2025 models, all of these colors should also be on the Tacomas and since it's so hard to get the trims you want now, you can just hold out a bit longer. The new Everest color looks amazing!
Outside of last year...
I was actually at the Guanajuato Factory to help build out their data center before it started production a few years back.
It's in an absolutely terrible area too. Toyota had drivers pick us up at the hotel and take us to the factory and they weren't allowed to drive certain routes because of...
Thank you for the work good sir!
Quite disappointing. Not sure why they wouldn't have at least one at 100w and the 10 watt ones are crazy low for 2024. I have some many camping things with USB-C now, it will feel silly to have them plugged in all over the truck instead of having 4/5 dedicated...
