Are these three punch marks at the rear end of both bed sides there to serve as drill guides to install something (and if so, what)? If I'm the only one who doesn't know, sorry for the dumb question. Thanks for any help.

After having patiently waited (as many here have), I am very happy to now have my first Tacoma---- feel fortunate that at least Toyota still offers the option for the 2-dr. cab / 6-ft. bed configuration. Also, thanks very much to everyone for all the information provided here---- your posts...
