I've had trucks all my life, not one with an electric rear window. No big deal to me I have a cap on mine anyway for my dogs. I've got a slider now never use it. My cap has a slider too. Too much noise in the cabin for me. To each his own.

I've had film on my last few vehicles Lexus though and that film saved our paint job from the salt and sand they put down here. No discoloration if they use the right film. My CT200h was done 11 yrs ago... looks like new the only blemishes are in the film which comes off.
