Just realized the pictures of the Bronze Oxide OR also had matte flares. I guess you can't base much of of pre-production models... At least fender flares should be an easy thing to replace or paint if the OR does end up getting the shiny treatment. The matte flares on the Bronze Oxide trucks...
All pictures I've seen of the OR have pretty glossy fender flares as well. I do think it's a bit exaggerated in these pictures because it looks pretty detailed and shined up. I also just really doubt they would make fender flares with slightly different finishes for different trims.
That being...
I'm with you there! I would be down to get a Limited with a blackout package. They offer the "nightshade package" on limited trims of other models, I'm just not sure if they are going to have it year 1 or offer it later.
I for one don't want the TH because I don't want to wait for the hybrid lol.
I think it looks perfectly fine. It allows it to be more within your line of sight without having to make a monstrous dash to "integrate" it. They knew what they were doing.
New video posted that gets some more up-close details on the TRD OR.
Confirmed it will have ventilated seats (probably as a part of the premium package), but does not appear to have a HUD, which is a huge disappointment to me. Maybe I could get a dash piece from a Limited trim and install it...
Yeah I've seriously considered that. I've been considering how much that might cost and how long until solid aftermarket chrome delete options are available
Literally the black accent aesthetic is the only thing pushing me towards a TRD OR. I would rather have the comfort features of the limited but absolutely can't stand the chrome.
She said it's the TRD OR *Premium* trim in the video, but it doesn't have actual leather seats (ideally also ventilated 🙏🏻), so what are you actually getting with the premium package? Just a larger infotainment screen?
Not exactly, but they did address it a bit in this video I watched recently. . It appears they did put a lot of thought into this engine. Also it's got some more ponies than the 2.4L Toyota engine, so that's kinda cool.
