My NA Tundra 14mpg in the summer 10 in the winter, RAV4 hybrid 40mpg summer 34 in the winter
The boosted taco does feel more peppy with the cold dense air though š
Summer fuel blend and warmer temps, and probably break in? Mine did really well last summer 20-22, winter was 16-18, now 19.5 but itās been a cool windy spring.
I posted my review on another thread. Anyway when I pulled it out of the box I wasnāt to impressed, it looks good but pretty thin š¤£. But after a short drive I was surprised! Cut the injector rattle to almost nothing! I think it must be design with the creases that cuts most of the noise? Either...
Well the level doesnāt lie! The only difference is the OPās tires are 1/4 narrower. The math is simple, +55 - +25 = 3cm or 1.2 inches, my wheels are 8.5 inches wide, factory is 7.5 inches wide, this pushes the wheel out another 1/2 inch. VS OEM this set up pushes the wheel and tire out an...
TRD Off Road, JRI shocks 1.5 front lift 1.0 rear lift, Nokian OutPost NAT tires. Factory control arms. Alignment is all green. Full droop Iāve only got about 1/4 inch of clearance between the UCA and the shocks š¤Ø, UCA,s are next on my list.
To be honest, Iām shocked how much this cheap cover reduced the engine noise! When I opened the box and installed it I thought well at least itāll look good with the hood up 𤣠Almost no more clattering, and the turbo is noticeably quieter. Iād guess it reduces the injector clatter by 80-90%, and...
Looking at it down the side I didnāt think there was much poke either, hit a muddy road and it was flying all over! The level puts into a little better perspective.
+25 offset, 8.5inch rim width, 285/70R17 tires
Here is the poke! Better stay with +35 if you donāt want poke. I added RCI fender flares they now are flush again.

Yep, Iāve had them for about a month or so pretty slick for $200. Brighter than OEM, and can also be wired through the turn signals making them sequential.

Looks great! Not sure 35ās are going to do much for you? Maybe a 1/2-3/4 inch more ground clearance? Full flex your good now, but 35ās are probably going to rub.
