WTF kind of world are we living in when people do shit like that? Could be the reason I live alone in the boonies and only see people once a week when I drive to town to get my mail and groceries for the week! Thanks for your reply and be careful out there!
I must be missing something (I'm old), but why do people block out their license plate when they post pictures; it's visible to anyone when you're driving, or parked, and it's pretty hard to run a trace on a plate, so what's up with that?
Great question, and since I do plan on some kind of over landing shell/camper, I have opted to not get the digital camera in the upgrade package for the OR, but if there's a way to utilize it with a full time camper/shell, might be worth getting it, so hope you get some good info on relocating it!
Yep; when I checked my tire pressure they were all at 50, and although my salesman swore up and down they don't do dealer added BS, they tried to charge me for "nitrogen" in the tires (proving they inflated the tires to 50) and "etching" the windows, but at least they did keep their promise to...
When I bought my 2023 TAG XL Boondock teardrop trailer, the PDI was a standard form that had things checked off that the TAG doesn't have, like refrigerator, fireplace, toilet, etc, and I noticed a badly warped cabinet door and floorboard, and the guy doing the walk through casually took pix and...
If you sit in the drivers seat with the seat belt buckled, lean over and put your head on the drivers side window and set your mirror, then lean over to the passenger side and set your mirror, and set your rear mirror a little more towards the passenger side of the rear window, you shouldn't...
I have never seen a biker riding close enough to the side of someone's vehicle to touch it with their elbow, but I get your point! And even without convex mirrors, which I do like, there is still no blind spot.
If you set your 3 mirrors correctly, there is NO blind spot. Why do people set their side view mirrors to see the side of their vehicle; it's always there, so you don't need to see it!
TRD JON has a video (posted 10/28/23) and he installed one in his Tundra and absolutely loved it, so I think you made a great find for those of us who need to jam while driving!
A Max Limited would set you back quite a bit, and do you remember how much the discount was; just curious. I'm retired, so my driving consists of once a week picking up my mail, continuing on to Safeway (in AZ) and then home, which is about 155 miles total. In the Spring/Summer I also do the...
Had a mid rise on my GMC Elevation from ARE and loved it; been checking to see when both Leer and ARE will have the '24 Taco caps ready (although I might go with a Tundra due to the 18 gal tank in the Taco, 32 in the Tundra), and might even splurge for the Moonlander for my over landing adventures.
The fuel tank is the one reason I'm still debating on a Tundra with the 32 gal tank; I live 75 miles away from the closest Safeway, and the post office to pick up my mail is 15 miles round trip, and do a summer trip to CO every year, with some side trips, that's usually a 1500 mile trip, as well...
Nice score, and congrats! I need to delete the rear seat as well, and don't necessarily need a kit, as I would just build a platform for my 100 lb Pittie/Mastiff, but I have yet to see anything about deleting the rear seat in a '24 Taco! Also plan on an OR w/6' bed and $4700 upgrade, which has...
Not exactly a mod, but an addition, and that would be a job to pay for it (I'm retired so it would be a new job for me, but for you it might be a second job)! Just kidding, of course! Really nice looking Taco, and my want is an Ice Cap 6' bed OR w/$4700 upgrade, which is $4100 less than the...
