It's not set up as a snorkel. It's made to reduce the dust going into the intake by pulling air higher up. Still questionable. I believe it can be sealed so you can go snorkeling 🤿
C4 rock sliders arrived today. Prepping for paint... degreased the bare steel. Will apply POR15 base coat tomorrow and will top coat.
Base and top coat just finished
I didn't have any trouble with the passenger side. The speaker was slightly in the way so I just bent it up a bit so I could get the screw driver in there. The whole job took about an hour.
I did 35% up front only. I think the rears are about 20% privacy glass. Not sure about that. I have 20% up front on my previous trucks and it was too dark at night.
You don't need to add the springs but keep in mind, with the bumper and winch you are adding about 150lbs to the front. In my case, it sagged about 1/2". I brought it back up with the springs and lifted it about 1 1/2" beyond stock.
Today I added dobinson springs to the front to compensate the newly added front bumper/ winch weight. It also raised the truck by about 1 1/2". I also order the the rears but they are on backorder so in the mean time, I installed 1" peak spacers.
Changing the suspension on this Tacoma might...

I bought the Tailhunter in underground color January 2025. I started my driving life in a Toyota 1991 pickup. In 2010 I got a 2G Tacoma DCLB modded for wheeling and went to another 2g DCLB and switched all the mods over to that truck. Since then, I've been driving around larger amercin 2500...
I received the Rago bumper Friday. Beautifullly made and very robust. Fitment once I made some modifications to the bumper for the TH is perfect. I installed it yesterday.
Rago only accounts for the standard model fogs. The rigid fogs project out further (about 3/8")so I had to modify the...
Agreed. Although I blame those cuts(as you mentioned) on the installer. They must perform under the the "never measure, cut once" philosophy. They should have measured, then rough cut long and fine sand to perfection.
