It really is a petty thing but I will probably ask them about it just in case a new trim piece or something might tighten it up. Maybe it’s the price point these days that makes one expect more a bit and for sure there is some paranoia going on since the first 4th gen Tacoma is the only one so...
Ok finally got the new truck to replace the one that had to have the dash ripped off. So far so good but just a couple things I noticed I didn’t notice on the other one. I may be being really pretty lol. Don’t get me wrong I love the truck but for whatever reason this driver door handle bugs...
I can’t say enough things honestly. Some higher ups got involved. They have been very helpful and friendly in the process. And they located me an exact match to what I have so it’s supposed to be here in about a week.
So they reached out to me with solution to trade it in at what I paid for it for a new one. I’m supposed to discuss details tomorrow morning in person!!
I mean that was the hope haha ….that being said I never had any issues with my Jeep 🤷‍♂️. They did show me a crack down the side of it where it was leaking. I’m not sure what is happening right now though. I have messaged a lot of people above service because I kind of have issue with this...
I appreciate the encouragement and maybe it will pan out well. And to think I came from a Jeep. At this point I don’t even know when this going to take place. They are waiting for TAS to tell them what to do and give them authorization to order the part. No idea how I drove for a week and it...
I mean, I’m sure technically it can. It just seems like a lot of stuff to pull off and a lot of parts involved and I don’t think anybody that buys a brand new truck once their dash ripped apart a week later. Knock on wood everything will go OK.
Yes, it surely does suck. They told me this is the first 24 Tacoma with this replacement so they had to open up a case for it to see if this is going to be a problematic issue down the road for others. Supposedly their master technician is going to be working on it so I hope he’s decent because...
They showed me a video of it, and it is literally cracked. I have no idea how I drove it for a week and that didn’t happen, but I am beyond pissed right now and don’t even know what to say or think.. I love this, but I guess I picked the wrong one because it’s gonna be interesting to see what...
Not happy. Dealer is telling me the evaporator core box is leaking and they have to pull the entire dash off to get to it. I only have 500 miles on this truck.
That’s what I was thinking. I thought the drain would be more toward the passenger side though. Generally I do have water on floor in garage as you would expect and it’s never done this but wouldn’t think it would be clogged at 450 miles. I’ve have it a week ans this is first day I’ve seen this.
Just noticed some cold water drip on my right food while driving. Ac was running on coldest setting and it is pretty warm today here in Florida. I drove for an hour and nothing happens then I got a good little bit on my right foot on the gas pedal then a few minutes later a little bit more...
On mine I should say the sound is not terrible. In fact up front it’s pretty good but pushing the sound to each corner individually it really does sound like the passenger rear something might be off because it’s just way too low.
For sure music coming out of Spotify on my phone at high...
It definitely takes away from the “surround” effect but I have a Ford Ranger for work that doesn’t has just standard audio and two rear speakers in rear doors and it sounds way better just from having equal sound output. But I’m concerned as to why my right rear I considerably lower than left.
I have the JBL system in my Tacoma and I have noticed the rear speakers are a lot lower in regard to volume output than the front. I am assuming that is pretty much the same experience for most? I know I read that about the 3rd generation. If not please let me know but my issue is the passenger...
Yes thank you for the pics. That’s the exact area and it stopped with cloth so I’ll be looking for something to put there permanent. Glad I could sort that out.
