Update from my April 2025 comment.... I'm now at a year with the truck and 11,000miiles, It may be due to the summer heat softening the plastic bits of the seat OR the seat finally fully broken-in, but I no longer have the creaking noises I did a few months back.
^^Dang, i didn't know there was an OEM version, I went to the beach and realized I should maybe get a sun shade....since I needed it the day of, I went to Wal*Mart and got this $12+ option > Auto Drive Double Rings Twist Sun Shade -- 63"x29.5" . It covers 100% , and I think it worked well...
The Pros/TH (I think limited too) come standard with the rear camera view on the mirror so the stem on it might be thicker than the ones on the regular mirror.
But yeah, OP, you're not missing anything there. All good.
Mine is a TRD Pro  ... I scrolled through the HUD options, and tach. option is not listed.
I guess the option is on the software itself, just not enabled on the Tacoma's  .. oh well
Any one noticed that when in Full Display mode, and you first start up the truck, for a brief second you get the Tachometer to show up?
I cannot find the option to actually leave it there.....
Yes and no... Toyota uses AT&T network. I visited a friend where my personal AT&T service phone does not work, later on that day I was able to hit the preset Home button to navigate back home. So clearly, Toyota will auto download some data. You just won't get points of interest or live traffic...
Historically, the TRD Pro exclusive color always makes it to the TRD Sport and Off Road trims the following year.
Also, looks like they dropped Solar Octane for the 2025 model...so you do have the only year (2024) 4th gen that would come in that color :D
That part number is for the all weather one. I'm talking about the carpet.with TRD Pro lettering.... But I'm begging to think there isn't one
I think you may be right.... Im in the US and I just have the Tacoma lettering one as well..... All the videos and pictures I've seen all have the...
FYI for those wondering, I found that on Page 13 of the 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma Warranty handbook, unfortunately, mentions that Wheel Alignment warranty is only for the first 12 months or 12,000miles (whichever comes first).
That said, my toe was actually out of spec within warranty period that...
Hello, those with TRD Pro lettering Carpet Mats, do y'all mind checking and see what is the part number listed on its tag at the back?
I called three different Toyota dealers and they all gave me PT206-35247-02 , (even after giving them the VIN) but a quick Google search reveals that's for the...
Noooo, i should have waited [I have Underground]! Gah, I like that blue a lot! I always wanted Voodoo Blue Tacoma Pro, but never was able to get one at the time. This color is sort of in between Voodoo and Cavalry
I'm testing this out now. First, as others have pointed out, I only use Top Tier fuel. While I've not tried not regular 87, I've been running at 89 vs 93 past few weeks. Pricing is $10 a difference every fill up a week (so at least $500 a year in savings)
So far, my dyno butt hasn't noticed a...
This is true. I originally went to get my alignment checked at my local Toyota dealer after I told them it visually has positive camber [I'll be honest, I didn't notice it when I first got the truck as I was too excited]. I know trucks may have some slight positive camber, but I feel like the...
I actually have the OEM Tonneau cover, so I can answer this. It sure does, and it retains the use of the OEM bed rail. In fact, it sits right under the bed rails
Correct, i tried many times to make sure... If the tailgate is down, and as long the straps are in and latched, when you push the button (whether it's on the FOB, taillight buttons, tailgate button, or interior button), it will not attempt to go up, instead it'll release the latch so that you...
