Well that is ironic. I would guess many of the "old farts" back in the 70's didn't much like the sound back then either but yet you were okay with it as a much younger man?
My, how History tends to repeat itself....................
Btw, I am in that "Boomer" Camp as well. I have...
Yes, you are correct.
That in no way proves your point.
Investments are often "overlooked" or dismissed and many don't see it coming. (if they did, they would have invested in it at the time)
I am not saying these teal trucks are going to be worth more down the road, but they might?
I...
It's like you're quoting someone straight out of the late '60s! š
Those Mopars in the "odd" colors were produced in much smaller numbers compared to the more common models that were built by the millionsāyet today, they fetch a serious premium.
If people had known that back then, they...
I'm not a big fan of this "teal" color eitherābut to be fair, I'm not particularly fond of some of the other color options Toyota offers for the Tacoma.
That said, I do appreciate Toyota stepping away from the same tired palette that many automakers recycle over and over again.
Think back to...
From this video, it shows that you are gaining less than 1 mpg (0.8 to be exact).
If you drove 12,000 miles per year and and averaged 22.2 mpg you would use 540 gallons of gas.
If you averaged 23 mpg, you would use 521 gallons of gas.
The average price of gas is $3.16. You would save $60...
Just speaking out of curiosityādid you not test drive the Tacoma before pulling the trigger? I'm a 5'10", 145-pound guy, and the Tacoma fits me just fine. I also own a 1981 Corvette, which suits me well too. That said, if I were a bigger person, Iād probably steer clear of mid-sized or smaller...
I just took that "dam" thing off. It looks like "dam".
Okay, enough with these dam jokes. I don't have enough dam time to continue.
Proceed..................:sunglasses:
Iāve owned many Toyotas over the years, along with quite a few domestic-brand vehicles. In my personal experience, Ford, GM, and Dodge ā at least since the late 1970s ā have consistently fallen short compared to the Toyotas Iāve owned. Every time Iāve gone back to a domestic brand, Iāve ended up...
I just took it off and tossed it. I see very little value to have the valance. Your mileage may suffer only very slightly. The cost to replace it would more than the cost of the fuel savings in my estimation. In other words, you would be placing a better built valance and you would have an...
As you can see, when my Truck is off the digital mirror can clearly be used when no power is directed towards the mirror. So in short, if the "tech" goes sideways, all is not lost. You can still use the mirror "old School". Btw, I have had a few vehicles with Digital mirrors and all were the...
I usually use it when something blocks the view of the regular mirrorālike people sitting in the back seat or when Iām hauling something large in the bed.
Fair point about more tech meaning more chances for problems, but if we peeled back all the layers of technology, weād be back in the Model...
I have LT 275/70/R18 on stock wheels. That size does not rub but it does fill the wheel well out IMO.
I personally wouldn't go any size larger. Not certain if the next size bigger would rub, but I am quite confident that would be pushing it at the least.
I love these tires and it really made...
