The front of the bed has a curve. Stand on the side of the truck and look down the rear glass, the bed itself curves a little. I used Roll N Lock and they account for that, a little pricey 1000 installed.
The first time I ceramic coated a car, I paid 400, watch how they did it, took a picture of the coating. I now do it myself. I use the 3yr graphene ceramic from dura coating. They also have videos how to apply it (always in the shade and don't wash the car for a week after applying)...
I have 25 hybrid. When you put it in reverse if you're not perfectly stopped, there is a clunk in the trans. I notice it when parking backwards and reverse is accomplished with the electric motor (engine off). No other issue on trans. Truck came with 265/65 R18, I went up 33 with 275/70 R18...
The OEM Micheline Primacy tires are probably the best for mpg.
Rolling Resistance

I have a 2025 Limited. I beleive it's a little higher than the sr5. I'm using Fuel Rebel 6 wheel 18x9 and +20 offset. The tires are 275/70 R18. When turning the wheel, I have 1 finger space before hitting the crash bar or front wheel well. That's half an inch. I drive on the street 99.99%...
I have a limited and there are no lifts available. After research on youtube, I went with fuel rebel 18x9 +20 offset. 285/65r18 is 32.6" tall. No rubs no modifications. Trd sport, trd offroad and limited are taller than sr5. Trd pro and trailhunter are about 1.5" above those 3 models...
I have a 2025 hybrid and when you shift from Drive to Reverse you have to be perfectly stopped. If you're moving slightly forward, there is a clunck from transmission/hybrid system. I've noticed the reverse is done in electric mode, gas engine is off.
Check how old are the tires are, there is a code on all tires. Four digits, first two digits is the week and the last two is the year. Tires over 4 years start to develope these signs.
