You have to buy a cross member if you want to utilize the majority of the OE/aftermarket skid plates.
Not sure if anybody else makes one, but this is the one I've seen most around here.

I would definitely be interested in this. My OEM replacement was $1000, so I'd be afraid to see what one of these would cost - if they even made them for the 4th Gen yet.
This Tacoma is the 2nd vehicle I've had with the Autohold feature, both are enabled the same way. I don't foresee any type of software update for this as it's more than likely a safety feature.
Damn that sucks. At least they didn't take anything I guess lol. Regardless, thieves deserve to be shot.
It took me about 2 months to get a replacement windshield, so it's generally going to take a while.
The ding won't dong if your seat belt is on prior to starting the truck lol. But yea, like @Sagebrush said, it's just at startup telling you that the seat belt isn't on, and doesn't go away even with Carista.
Also, the hybrid on tacomas isn't your normal "hybrid". It wasn't designed to improve efficiency. I'm sure it can help some, but that's not it's main use case.
Even though the TH is a hybrid, you're also adding in anywhere from 600-1200 pounds compared to SR/SR5/OR. I'm sure that's a contributing factor as well.
It would mainly depend on which light bar/size you're looking at. Just going off of pure speculation here as I only have an OR, but some of the light bars from Rigid draw more than 15 amps (which is the max size for the Aux switches - without any further modifications) so I doubt it could handle...
