Has anyone installed these springs by removing the upper control arm only? I think it would be much safer than messing around with the lower control arms and taking a chance of triggering the steering sensors that have been reported.
Hi guys I want to prepare myself to replace the front springs with Alldogs as they are on the way. Has anyone seen a step by step video for this project. I am considering doing myself.
I have read a on posts that a couple of people have have installed the JRI shocks which raise the Taco 1 1/2 inches which is basically the same as the Alldogs springs. Those people started experiencing the hum that comes from the front driver side cv joints coming specifically from the needle...
I don't know if it is a problem or not. A few people said the installed on front only. I think someone said he will do the back because he tows with it.
I ordered 2 front springs last night. Today, I was getting quotes for installation and I was shocked at the prices I was quoted, 4 hours of shop labor plus anywhere for 150-175 for labor. Estimates range from $650-$850. I think that is super ridiculous prices. I have to evaluate if I want to...
That is my next question is it recommended to do them all the way around or just the front springs. If you do the rears also wouldn't that bring back the rake issue.
I only see one knob not 2. When they say 2 stage it has to have 2 knobs. one to adjust the low speed movements of the shock and one for the high speed movements of the shock. These aren't high speed movements of the car. The speed is if the shock movements.
Did your shock reservoirs have a 2 stage compression adjusters or just 1. I only see one knob in the photos but the listing says it has a 2 stage. Let me know. Also any more updates on performance?
