I'm still of the belief that this can be fixed in the settings. I will be getting my truck in the next couple days and I will follow this message up. I am pretty confident that I'll be able to make it sound as good as it can sound.

I think Supertech1 is onto something, in the multimedia manual I downloaded from this site shows the surround would be in the levels settings, below the system option under speakers

Just curious, What is it about the snaps you don't like? Do they not hold or work very well? Or maybe cheap as shit? I get mine mid this week so I have had a chance to check them out

I would agree and that's one of the first things I am going to do when i oick my truck up. I had a 2018 Camry XSE with the JBL premium sound and it did not sound very good, then I turned off the surround and it was awesome sounding.

There are 10 speakers in total... 1 in each door (4) 1 in each the dash corner (2) 1 tweeter in each 'A'pillar (2) 1 JBL portable in the dash centre (1) 1 sub behind the drivers side rear seat (1) I'll give more details on sound after I get it and adjust the settings to my preferences

Mine was on hold as well, originally supposed to be at the dealership 2nd week of Jan, then put on hold, eta changed to the end of January, then extended until end of February..... then it showed up at the dealership yesterday, picking it up next week. Hopefully, it's a good sign for the rest...

The premium doesn't have a locking fuel door so I would assume that none of the trims will. Maybe the hybrid versions will have one?
