Same color, and same issue! Dealer couldn't care less. I am going to open a case with Toyota corporate. Perhaps I may even go to a local detailer and get them to document the Mottling in writing so I can submit that.
Please keep us updated on your progress and what you do.
I had a 2022 Supra, and even though Toyota recommended 0w-20, the entire internet recommended 5W-30. Heck, even BMW recommended 5W-30 for that engine, and after all, they where the ones who designed/manufactured it.
I believe Toyota recommended 0w-20 strictly for fuel economy/emissions. I...
My truck does not fall under the TSB, but I have noticed this weird chattering sound sometimes. only about 5K miles 2024.
Anyone else have this noise? Mine does sometimes shift hard from D-R or P-R, but very rarely.
I have the same issue, some panels are worse than others, mostly just my left side doors and rear quarter panel, and hood. Curious how you got a buyback instead of a repaint offer.
I have noticed this inconsistent ticking noise. My truck does not fall under the transmission TSB according to the VIN#.
Does anyone else have a similar noise?
2024 Limited (non hybrid) with 5K miles.
Interestingly, I just found the below photos. And although they look bright, I didn't realize how many shadows they cast. Perhaps a DIY solution may yeild better results
Good points on all that you mentioned. Please do update us if you end up getting some lights install, however you do it!
I also considered waiting on the OEM Scene lighting, but I expect them to be fairly expensive considering I would need new bed rails, lights, and wiring harnesses.
I have...
I'm looking to drill a small hole in my bed to route my bed cover drain line (1/4" hole with adapter to fit the drain line).
Has anyone drilled into their bed? Is it just like a plastic composite? Normal drill bits work I assume?
I considered this, but I feel I still would need to put something above the tailgate for (support of the material) to prevent something like drywall from snapping, since this method only supports about 4ft of the sheetgood.
Is there any good way to haul 4x8' sheet goods? Why did they make the wheel wells like 2" too narrow to fit a sheet of plywood between them?!?!
I found these images from a 2nd Gen forum. Interesting idea, although I have a power lift tailgate so I'm not even sure if this would be possible or if...
Not to take away from the awesome 3d print that was designed here, but check out formable funnels on Amazon. I think this will be a good contender for an off-the-shelf alternative.

I don't have much info to give, but do you plan on using the OEM sceen lighting parts? Or are you going get your own lighting?
I've been considering doing the same thing for camping and such, but I haven't decided on what lights to go with and where to mount them.
I remember him letting me shift (manual Isuzu Pickup I think?) when we drove to the stores in like the early 2000's when I was maybe like 7 or 8 years old. I also remember the truck having a built-in telephone handset.
