If you want a this is a great step up from lifting using pucks but not a huge upgrade. This is great for people who want a little lift but don't want to use those cheap pucks or spacers that really hurt the ride.
Even if you did the 5100s, added a dobinson spring (I just like dobinsons) and put...
Mine does the same thing. I can't get it to do it at the dealership no matter what I do. I've recorded it but they want to see it first hand.
Let me know what you find out!
Why not a 5 link? I've ran a 3 for about three months until I had driveshaft issues with the rear axle gears getting out of whack on big stuff. Five lets you keep the geometry in check.
I love the truck. Absolutely gorgeous.
How much travel do you get now? Did you go hoops up front for longer...
Chloe found she needed to do it as she did get the vibration after her lift, so I did it to avoid any headache since I was already half way there.
I'll have pics when I am back in town. I'm traveling.
She's almost done for a while but here is where we are:
Dobinsons upper control arms.
Dobinsons IMS front and rear shocks with heavier springs in teal.
Dobinsons adjustable rear sway bar links due to the 2ish inches of lift I'm getting.
Eastcoast Gear Supply clamshell bushing to get rid of the...
I'm looking to mount a jerry can sideways on a molle panel in the bed for permanent storage. I ran into a situation where my kid almost ran out of gas- down to single digits - because he just never looked at the gauge.
I am ok with spending on rotopax if that's the only option but I have heard...
I've seen a lot of companies come out with behind the grill lighting and I can't tell if that would be a great solution or a waste of money due to light being blocked by the light's location and trying to escape the depth and the pattern of the grill.
Anyone ran one and have experience?
C4 has a really nice bumper that also has the option to do a minor viper cut and add some "wings" to make everything blend well. I'd probably do that one or the CBI.
I like my truck looking as lightly modded as possible while still being a big performer. I had the showy, complex build on my...
The bar can be seen a bit from the camera. It’s heavy as heck and decreases front approach angle a bit.
Hard to install on top of all of that. No room to add the clutch to the winch so you’re entirely wireless remote at all times.
I’d swap it for a number of other offerings at this point. If I...
There aren't any places to put them...
Great bumper. This is the stuff I look forward to down the line. How much does the truck freak out with so many sensors cut/moved/etc?
Icon has a mono tube and a bypass version available that I think are 2.5 inch tubes,
King clearly has setups,
Dobinsons has a monotube and a resi version with a 2.6 inch,
Eibach has 2 inch mono tube all around and an upgraded monotube up front and resi out back.
Ive heard Fox has their...
I have the hoop front and I hate it. It was good construction but so many holes were off it made it a nightmare. It took 2 hours longer than it needed and you still can’t get to the clutch for the winch. The shackle mounts are worthless as well since they’re too small.
I’ll never buy from...
Recons. +25 offset and I wish I could get +35 at minimum. They have a tiny bit of poke, less than half an inch, but they don’t tuck with full compression with body flex. It’s just a hair but it would be a better fit.
Now I’m looking at trimming.
If you don’t have any other lights, you want to get spots. If you have other lights like a light bar in the front, you want to go with a driving combo or white beam to illuminate the sides.
A busy few days.
