I can’t really see it, but it takes a really bright light to be noticeable in sunlight which I didn’t expect this to be, probably just a couple watts.

Installed mine. It’s pretty dim but what i expected. Plenty visible at night.

Probably. Most people that don’t like it didn’t buy it. Just sell it and move on. It’s only a truck, life goes on.

I am glad you posted as I didn’t really do a full search on how bad the plastic scratch even from just cleaning. Reddit as well has dozens of threads about it too with others comments the same. Have to be hundreds of comments about taco screen scratching. Of course not everyone will care, but...

Just a Google search on Tacoma touchscreen scratches brings a lot of results. Not all applicable but there are plenty even on the non-touch gauges.

Thanks! The shop said 10 year warranty was if you bring in every year, but he said most people don’t and he will go over how to do the annual inspection and touchups. Not sure if will really last that long, but with how seldom I drive it might!

Yeah from another thread I’ve saved the part number and location for plugs. 8 total 4 each arm. Appears build date was 7/24 from sticker in door.
