It’s called S mode. It was S mode on the 3rd gen Tacoma, too. The 4th gen Tacoma and the 6th gen 4Runner both have S mode @Gunnison.

I just checked. These stiffners use the same location and bolts as the Extang Solid Fold ALX tonneau. They might work together with longer bolts.
Anyway, folks that want bed stiffners and have a tonneau cover, they need to consider compatibility.

For some of the Tacomas, low beam headlights are the DRL. You can turn that off in the settings.
Once off, then you have to run with the light tree switch set to Parking in order to use the turn signal bulb as a DRL. Unfortunately Lasfit does not work when the tree switch is set to Auto...
