That's ridiculous. They are currently building trucks in Mexico and I'm sure those require shutter assembly. It shouldn't take a week + to resolve an issue for a truck that cost 50k, under warranty and less 3 months old.
I sincerely hope they're addressing the grille shutter issue with this QC hold. If that's the case, I don't see any way they just released all of them from holds.
It looks like they connector issue may be something to look out for. Hopefully that's all that this is. I figured the 2024 would has some issues early on but this is a little alarming.

Yikes. They better get this stuff under control quickly. I'm getting close to moving on from the Tacoma. We've now heard of the shutter connector, bad fuel pump and bad transmission on a very limited number of vehicles in the hands of consumers. I cannot afford to have my vehicle in a shop.
