Totally happy with my 18ās. I think everyone thinks they will be overlanding rock crawling warriors, but in reality they are 99.5% freeway commuters like me and I think 18ās are just fine for that. .
Resale is lower because Toyota over produced the new Tacoma and they were optimistic with the new generations MSRP. After 5 months, dealers had to start heavily discounting tacomas because high interest rates and MSRPās impacted sales while Toyota continued to produce and then over produce the...
During 23/24, there was a steady stream of reports of 22/23 Tundraās with failed engines, mostly around or by 28k miles. Itās almost 2026 and Iām not reading about any model year 24 or 25ās failing on the websites I keep tabs on. So itās antidotal and not definitive, and as I said, it appears...
OP, congrats on your Tundra. Enjoy in good health. Iāve owned 2 of the current genās and they are powerful, comfortable, and ride very nice.
I let my last one go in 2024 due to the engine issue concerns. It seems the issue was resolved and I have to admit, 20 minutes ago I was looking at the...
I would like to see a body colored insert/cover that would cover that black plastiky bit. I think the taco would be better looking without the headlight weep hole.
Iād be interested in vinyl wrap with unique patterns and colors for the center console, door switches and a few other areas to break up all the grey and black plastic in the interior. I had something like this on a 23 Tundra I had and it was great.
I had my oil changed at the factory just after being poured in. Then again at the port as a PIO, at the dealer upon delivery, and again, just after I signed the purchase documents. ;)
1. Congrats and enjoy your new truck.
2. Donāt overthink the rest, Iām sure your truck is fine driving that little in 4h, remove the roof rack (everyone does for the same reason), oil change questions will get you 107 pages of conjecture, and now refer back to #1.
3. No dumb questions, all good.
