    thanks for the quick reply. I get a project M in August and will use this method for 3rd brake light. I’ve got 2025 TRD OR hybrid with premium package. I think trailer detection may be triggered by combination of plug and rear sensors.

    How thick was the two sided foam tape you used? Cap seems quite thick with lots of ridges. Cap underside near cab.
