Well this is shit luck. Bought a brand new 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport Premium on August 1st. Took it back to the dealer after 7 days since the fuel door wouldn't close; told that parts weren't available with no ETA for parts Returned again to service on August 17th after fuel sensor stopped working...

2024 Tacoma TRD Sport premium with fuel door release. picked up the truck 2 nights ago. Fuel door is now always open. Can’t close it shut. Mechanism doesn’t work. Any suggestions BESIDES taking back to the dealer for repair? Anyone else have a similar issue? frustrating for a new car.

I'm in SoCal. Some are accepting deposits for MSRP but no dealer is willing to offer a custom build? Any of state dealerships willing to allow a custom build that you can refer me to? Thank you.
