Thanks! I confirmed with my shop that the lower knuckle brackets will fix the turning radius, just waiting on confirmation I can order just those parts and not the whole kit. Stay tuned
I can't remember which Dobinsons coil my shop recommended. If you go with a heavier coil than your constant weight then daily driving will be slightly harsher. But on the flip side your ride will handle the adventures when you have the gear loaded.
I dont have the drawer system yet, so my...
Thanks! You won't be disappointed with the MT64. Just make sure you get the correct rear coils for your weight. They have 3 different options from OME. I was going to go with some Dobinsons rear coils but they were on a months long backorder.
I just posted my build here: https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/space-taco-build-2024-sr5-double-cab-4x4-285-70-17-wildpeaks-method-705-smartcap-ome-mt64-rci-sliders.19641/
Looks like you already got it off road which is the best thing to do to figure out what mods you might need! Tires are...
I installed the MT64 kit with the 3320 rear coils. I have pictures and measurements in my build post here

Started the thread to capture my whole build. Will include updates when I fix the turning radius. Here is the link: https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/space-taco-build-2024-tacoma-sr5-double-cab-4x4.19641/
I bought the Space Taco stock 2 years ago and have incrementally built it out to become a highly capable adventure vehicle. I've learned a lot both from other forums and working through issues as I continue to modify the vehicle and wanted to document the process here for other SR5 owners.
The...
I haven't yet, just have the MT64 suspension installed currently. Still trying to work out if the parts in that kit will work with my SR5. I'm going to start a new thread once I get everything figured out that will be specific to the MT64 setup for a SR5. I'll link it here too once done
Where did you purchase the lower control brackets and how much did those run? If you find out that fixed the turning issue I'm going to do the same thing
I just installed the OME MT64 on my SR5 and definitely noticed an increased turning radius, likely do to still having the factory steering components other than the OME UCA.
Where can I find the other steering components to purchase? Knuckle, tie rods, etc. Also, why would you need new axles?
I got the full MT64 suspension package installed which included their UCAs so I would be surprised if they were limiting the turning radius. I looked at the LCA and I think there is some misalignment of the steering stops. So maybe need different LCAs too. I'll update here when I learn more
Got the MT64s installed earlier this week. Significantly improved ride on the road. Firm but plush so handles really well while absorbing bumps easily. Massive upgrade in ride quality over the stock SR5 suspension so really happy with them. Haven't gone off pavement yet but hopefully will hit a...
How is the turning radius compared to stock? I just got the MT64s installed as well but have the front on the highest lift setting. Turning radius is quite a bit larger than stock so not sure if dropping the lift down a bit in the front would fix this.
