I did remove them, (no waiting) due to a consecutive amp install under the seat and Starlink Mini/mobile custom router wiring installation. I did disconnect the battery as I usually do when working on anything electric. Removing them made the installation super easy.
Yeap, they (most brands) take a few hours to install. Mine were stained and a bit ripped by the double sided tape they used to cover the letters, but were responsive (with a few weeks exception) to send the replacement.
Overall, they look great, installation goes in average a bit above average...
I purchased the red set (had a snag, well a looong, well a fight snag with the double sided tape), and they are if great quality. Loving your black selection, those look also clean as factory. One of the best quality I've seen those far for the price point.
