I'm personally not interested in the other trims, which is why I started this. Perhaps make one for the Limited or each hybrid trim so those can be tracked. I don't want to have to read through every single hybrid allocation post, as the regular trims will likely be far easier to get than the...
Since the allocation list hasn't been updated in quite some time, if you have a Trailhunter Allocation please post here. I am generally just curious to see how many are rolling out, and when they are expected.
Post the following if you don't mind. Some states seem to be really far behind...
@Administrator maybe this thread should be closed or deleted to save this man some time and effort. He did a lot to help people with their trucks.
Not sure if its possible.
MPG isn't surprising.
On the power numbers, people aren't understanding what's happening here. Reviewers are saying the hybrid isn't a race horse, because it isn't. This is set up like a diesel intentionally. Diesels have lower horsepower numbers, but huge torque numbers.
If you ever lusted...
Stevinson Toyota just called me with a build date of mid June, delivery mid July he claimed. Unfortunately they had me down incorrectly for a TRD OR, so I passed on it.
They moved me over to their Trailhunter list. So Denver should be seeing some of these trucks somewhat soon, assuming there...
While not as important as a locker, LOTS of people have bought trucks without the lockers and regretted it later. This will be true in a few years for those who didn't buy what they wanted in the first place because they had zero patience to wait. If you start off roading a lot, you will wish...
I assume they are going to launch the hybrids with them, and then work them into the non hybrids. They want more incentive to buy the hybrid models. The sway bar disconnect is a big deal in my eyes, and I will not buy this truck without that option.
I am getting the Trailhunter so its...
The hybrid battery can recharge itself at idle, though probably not as quickly as it can at max torque. What I am curious to see is if the hybrids retain the better MPG with larger tires. There's no free lunch with energy, but what eats a lot of fuel is getting up and going from a stop or...
Even if that payload is correct for the Trailhunter, remember it has steel sliders, a steel bumper, steel skid plates.
Typically we start a build with that kind of payload before we put any of that on
This makes me curious if Toyota is backpedaling a bit on these things because of how expensive they will be. The blowback from how high MSRP is getting might have forced their hand into making some of this stuff optional.
I have done a bunch of reviews on the portable battery stations, and they usually fall short (for overland/long term camping use specifically) because they simply cant be charged fast enough from 12v (and I hate that they don't have more output ports than they do).
On the other hand, charged...
The only issue I see with doing this way is you will still be using the lead acid cranking battery to run the fridge, and they aren't really designed for long draw loads like that. It will work, and the truck will still start most of the time, but it will have a negative effect on the battery...
