I have a TRD OR coming in soon but really thinking I may want the SR5 Xtra cab and do a nice build on it….anyone know or hear when xtra cabs will be produced/delivered???

I just found out Definitively that he misunderstood completely, what has happened is that a handful of his reserved trucks were pulled back for QC inspection and mine was one of them!! Toyota corporate clarified this and said all is ok and trucks are rolling to the dealerships!! He thought it...

I called him again, he says he doesn’t know what’s going on, he is trying to find out. He did says trucks on shipping routes were pulled back. Like I said I truly don’t know just looking for more clarification. The QC hold is old news I’m just hoping he got confused!!!

I honestly don’t know which is why I posted it here, I was hoping someone could clarify… I will tell you he said he was notifying those who had orders. I was hoping you are correct that’s it’s the old QC hold he was referencing

He just called and are waiting to hear more info from corporate as of 5:30 pm today.

My dealer just informed they are pulling back all Tacomas, they are pulling them all back for quality control..anyone else hear this ???? I had trd or on order.

My reservation is a TRD OR in Bronze Oxide, build date was approx a month ago so I should see it relatively soon

Personally I’ll wait for Tuxmat to come out with floor mats…the only ones that leave no carpet exposed. Clean up like new after they get dirty too

I was lucky to get a reservation on a mid spec TRD OR, Bronze oxide, heated seats, bigger screen and small add ons at $46k… I would love to add 33’s but may need a lift to accommodate that.. wheels will be swapped out as well. I think 33s would improve the look, stance and clearance a bit

The factory lift that has been making the rounds is on an SR5 with coil springs in rear.. im contemplating getting an SR5 access cab and not sure if the factory kit will be compatible for a truck w rear leaf springs but that would be an ideal build for me.

Maybe the factory lift kit that’s been on the silver SR5 that’s been making the press/media rounds??

Yes build and price is a weak spot for them. I’d also like to see the ARB accessories in the options list as they are clearly displayed in the photo gallery installed on non Trailhunter models
