I’ve always been in the camp of a midsize truck shouldn’t be the same length as a full size truck. A Tacoma with a 6’ bed is only 6” shorter than a full size crew cab with a 5’5” bed.
Sure, the Tacoma isn’t as wide. But I’ve found parking a 6’ bed double cab Tacoma vs the full size I just...
Everyone here is mentioning better fuel economy in the Tacoma. I thought the initial reports were mpgs weren’t great? I was getting 20mpg in a 2022 F150 5.0. The Tacoma can’t be that much better, is it?
The 6’ box looks so long from the side and rear angles. Too bad Canada doesn’t get more 5’ bed options. Might have to buy from another manufacturer.
Nice looking truck though.
The Canadian site had them under accessories for the first couple days the build and price was up. Now they’re gone. Toyota must be reserving them all for the States. Oh, Canada. ?
You’re right. The prices aren’t out of line with the competition. But my main point was if you want a short bed with an automatic, you’re stuck paying for the top trim level available at the moment. Canyon/Colorado & Ranger which have short beds have lower trim level pricing available.
Pretty lame how if you want a short bed with an automatic you have to spend $61k. Why can’t we get the non-premium OR, Sport or SR5 model in Canada?! Toyota is ridiculous with their vehicles up here.
I really wanted a Toyota, unfortunately the awful selection of trim levels we are given will...
We always get left out and have way less options and configurations than the States do.
I'd love an SR5 short bed but nope, none for Canada. I have a hard time seeing the benefits of a 6’ box with the crew cab. It’s basically the same length as a super crew short box F150 with way less...
Oh Toyota and their archaic package system. I never use a sunroof and don’t want to lose headroom in a midsize truck but would love the premium jbl and trailer brake controller. Unfortunately, to get the latter you have to get a sunroof. (Canada of course gets screwed with their options compared...
