I have P275/70R18 (~33.2”) Toyo Open Country AT3 tires on my stock Trailhunter wheels. The tires are standard load, and they have been great this winter.
Curious on what you replaced your factory rock sliders with. I have the long bed factory rock sliders on my Trailhunter, and I’m looking for ones with a step.
It wasn’t covered under warranty? I believe Toyota honors one alignment under warranty up to 20,000 miles. I have not had to pay for an alignment done at two different Toyota service centers in Southern Indiana when I asked for one before 20,000 miles on my vehicles.
No clue, but they do honor the warranty on their products. Lead times are a little excessive in my opinion. Not sure what their workforce/material supply are like, but I thought they should be able to get product out within two weeks, instead of four to six weeks. For what these accessories cost...
I had that setup on my 2022 Tundra Crewmax 6.5’ bed. I removed the rack before trading that truck in. I was able to retrofit it to my Retrax cover on my 2025 Tacoma Trailhunter 6’ bed with different adapters that mount in the tonneau cover rail slots.
I could open each part of the Diamondback...
Slightly used TRD skid plate from my 2024 Tacoma. It was on that vehicle for 3 months before trading it in on my Trailhunter. $300 local pick up in Southern Indiana.
LEER is not much better from what I’ve heard. ARE did give me $350 for the inconvenience in lieu of returning it for repair. The dealer warned that it could be returned to me in worse condition after repairs were made. Whichever route you go, be sure to have the installer use the thicker padding...
The ARE truck caps have declined in quality over the years. I had a V Series one on my previous 2024 Tacoma, and I was very disappointed in it. It leaked in a few areas where it was mounted, and the back door had unpainted brackets and hinges that were rusting shortly after receiving it. Some of...
I’ve had a few ARE caps in the past. The build quality is the same, but the fit and finish has gotten worse over the years. I’m satisfied with it though. I considered a Smart Cap or the OVS cap, but I like the impact resistance that the fiberglass caps offer compared to the metal ones.
I had the front lower spring adapters and rear one inch spacers from Peak installed earlier this week. The truck cap and gear in the bed were weighing down the truck a little, and this seems to have fixed that for me. The front and rear are lifted about an inch with this setup.
