Sorry I haven’t been as active on here as I was before. The E load tires definitely makes the ride a little harsher. The ride is a little stiffer than stock for sure. I’m eventually going to do full coilovers but for the price you can’t go wrong with the WD preload collar kit. The ridge...
Looking forward to see your build, super excited for you. I’m sure the more aggressive setup will make you not mind the mpg loss. I was also debating 285/75 but I’m glad I went with the wider 305/70. I think the wider tires make a huge difference in looks and I think it would look even better...
Ya I was debating on 35x12.5 but I opted for 305s for the weight savings. I might try them when it comes time to replace my current tires. Post some pics when you have them on, I would love to see the difference. It’ll help me decide my next setup
I want to but it’s really hard to get my hands on the heritage grille. Dealers don’t have them in stock or if they do they don’t ship them and retailers have a long lead time on them. I will get it eventually when they are more easily accessible
I looked up the OEM 2022+ tundra installation instructions and used that. It’s identical except the different hardware that attaches the cover closest to the rear window side. There’s a large blue sticker underneath the cover itself that tells you the order of the hardware.
Nice! I had a pre order of the MX4 also but I needed a cover ASAP so I decided to cancel it and get the OEM. If I could have waited I would have, especially for the warranty but the OEM works fine for now. Hoping it stays that way
Yes they only fit the 5’ bed. I thought that too but when I called them directly they said otherwise.
It’s very different than the previous gen, it’s now more low profile. Retail was around $1200
It’s pretty sturdy, it won’t open unless the tailgate is down and you pull the release cord
I have not but I did wash it today with a pressure washer and no water got in. Not sure about going through a car wash or in rain
