There’s more to it than emissions, drivability could become an issue due to fouled spark plugs. Turbos and higher compression ratios and heats are failure point for spark plugs
Wasn’t my point. Just saying the same symptoms could arise should spark plugs not get changed at proper intervals and that the new Tacoma’s change interval for spark plugs is unusually frequent for a modern vehicle.

Take that garbage aftermarket Bluetooth battery monitor off the truck and stop relying on it. It just may be your problem period. It’ll be the first thing the dealer tells you before they even think about covering a battery.
As so goes the story of aftermarket crap, and the cost of DIY business. As a licensed automotive technician, the stories we could share. I know enough to stay away from most of that sort of stuff. I’ve seen cars where the customer decided to put a new customizable ECU in their vehicle, and...
Interesting- but of note, since this discussion, I’ve traded in my ‘24 on a ‘26 and there are zero issues with the TPMS saving on the display. I mean seems odd to have to jump up and down while rubbing your tummy, blink you eyes 3 times and then stand on one foot for 5 seconds. Toyota should...
Following, I asked when I had my PPF installed if there was anything for the door panels, they’re super delicate. My ‘24 door panels got so scratched so easily, I now have ‘26 and wanted to find a way to protect them
