I took it to two different dealers 4 times and they basically acted like I was crazy and that this was normal. The last dealer had me test drive the exact same model as mine that they had on the lot to prove to me it was normal to have vibrations like this.
When I test drove it the vibrations...
Just an update. I took the truck in for service and they stated they could also feel the vibration. They checked the tires and said the front passenger tire was out of balance and after balancing it they no longer felt the vibration.
On the drive home it was vibrating the same or even worse...
I checked my truck yesterday and my tires were between 50-51 psi. This was after driving several hours and noticing vibration. So I guess lucky nothing happened as they say max 51 psi on them.
Has anyone with an off-road noticed a vibration that gets worse as speed increases? I just want to see if this is normal from others with the same model.
I’m glad this prompted me to check the tire pressure at least as all tires had 50-52 psi so clearly the dealer didn’t check the truck out...
Just curious. Does Toyota fix any of the issues that are causing the hold while the vehicles wait in Veracruz? Just seems like a great opportunity to work on them while trapped there for months.
Doesn’t seem like there have been many ships leaving from Veracruz to the Newark port. Hopefully that changes soon cause my truck has been stuck in Veracruz for a month or so.
