I've had Falken Wildpeaks (SLs) on my TRD OR for almost two years. They're a good compromise for backroad/offroad and daily commuting. Quiet and do well in rain on the streets.
The service departments in dealerships in Central Texas are horrible. They have no idea what Toyota even prescribes in their own manuals.
I'm beyond 20K now, but I wish I had the 15 hours back that I spent sitting around Toyota's crappy service for the free maintenance.
Good luck trying to...
I need to rid myself of stuff I've replaced on my 2024 TRD OR.
-OEM Predator Tube Steps, (removed ~ 15K miles) dusty but no scratches or damage, hardware included (but not pictured)
-OEM TRD OR carpet mats front and back (removed <5K miles)
Local pick up in Austin only, no shipping.
Anyone have the weight of the ARB bumper compared to the stock TRD OR bumper? I searched for 15 minutes or so and can't find any weights associated with the part numbers. Just curious, because, I have a RSI top and already get pretty saggy with a full load on camping trips.
Also, many thanks...
Haven't heard of this physical barrier, but have dropped $2K to repair damage a rat did to a car we don't drive very often.
Given my recent experiences with Toyota service, I would ask them to point out their evidence of rodent traffic before I would even entertain the thought of buying...
When I've done backcountry roads in Big Bend, I throw my full-size in the bed and mount the original under for a second spare.
I've been looking for a bed mount that would work with rail system in the bed, but haven't really found much other than this, which is bit more than I'm willing to...
I had three deep paint chips on the upper section of the rear passenger door the first month I had it. I have a couple smaller ones since on the hood, but otherwise ok at 16K miles.
Interesting thoughts, much appreciated. I'll check for the Hunter equipment the next time I drive into the intake lanes at the dealership. I'll be back there to address my third recall soon.
I took my TRD OR in for 15K service a couple of weeks ago and was surprised when they tried to upsell me (at the outset, as soon as I rolled into the queue and before I stepped out of the pickup) on wheel alignment that wasn't covered by warranty. I've had two other Tacomas and have never had...
Wasn't aware of this until I arrived for 15K service on Sat morning. They did it, but took every minute of 2 hours (although half of that time I watched my pickup sit in a parking space outside of service).
Many/most of the aftermarket products are rock sliders and not intended as traditional running boards.
Toyota does has some pretty nice OEM Running Boards for the Tacoma -
