That doesn't sound right, unless you were loaded pretty heavy. I have traveled in the mountains several times with over 1k weight and have had zero fade. Maybe others have suggestions.

It is time already to replace my OEM battery. Any suggestions for a larger size that will fit the tray? The tray has a removable sheet metal piece that seems to limit the size that fits. Anyone try this?

Has anyone found a supplier for the 6112's that will install the springs on the struts for a reasonable fee before shipping?

And larger tires makes it a bit worse. Give Tow/haul a try. It holds gears longer and locks up the converter much more.

I have been doing the same. Cheap but effective faraday pouches off Amz. That and Energizer batteries instead of cheap ones. The batteries last well now.
